The volunteers made the visit a very unique and fun trip for Cub Scout Pack.

I love this museum! There is so much to learn and so many things to look at. I would recommend this museum to anyone from kids to adults.

No HANDICAPPED PARKING OR ACCESS TO THE SHIP. I GUESS THE "DISABILITY ACT" DOES NOT APPLY. COME ON BAY CITY YOU CAN DO BETTER. MY BROTHER-IN-LAW Who IS RETIRED ARMY WANTED TO BOARD THE SHIP AND WAS NOT ABLE TO.

This is a wonderful museum and we're truly lucky to have something like this in the tri-state area. The folks taking care of it are all volunteers and most are veterans as well. They do an amazing job and give spectacular tours. If you're in the area and looking for something to do I'd highly recommend.

My stepdad served on the Edson so it was very exciting for him to share a bit of his history with his kids & grandkids. It's well maintained and gives you access to alot of places other historic vessels do not. That being said, visitors must be mobile and able to navigate ladders and narrow passageways as it is a historic place and not ADA accessible. My husband, son and I took turns staying behind in the shady picnic pavilion with our daughter who is autistic and uses a wheelchair. She enjoyed watching the boats and the birds. We all enjoyed the visit. Great history, great ship.
