Great service good food. Older crowd but I like it because it's quieter.
I ordered the tenderloin steak and it had a funny taste to it on the outer edge. The middle was fine. Loved the grilled vegetables. Baked potatoe was to well done. I don't usually complain but for the price you pay it should be good.
While the food was good the servers were another story. We sat down and then after 5-6 min menus were dropped off. Our "server" then totally ignored us and went about clearing off a previous table. She walked past us 3-4 times and never acknowledged that we were there. Another server finally came over and apologized, took our order and took over from her. She was heard commenting that she did not care what we thought. It was 45 minutes before close and everyone was more concerned about that. Servers were heard throughout our meal bickering, so not a good visit.
Love this place. Good food, quiet atmosphere. We stop here any time we drive upstate.
I’ve been to Berger’s a number of times and the friend lake perch is always good enough to keep me coming back. The dining area is clean and service is always friendly.
