Quite disappointed for my first visit. Will not be making a second visit.
Like some of the previous reviews. The online hours of operations say 24hrs. So we pulled up at 2140 to find the lobby was closed at 2200. Yet the doors were locked. So we gave them a second chance and tried to use the drive thru to get ice cream. When we pulled up the sign was off. We were told it would be a second but, we already lost our patience with this place.
HORRIBLE!!! I wish there was 0 stars but I had to give one. Stopped in on a Friday night at 7:00 and spent $20 on 3 medium and 1 small ice cream. I was told it was a 10-15 minute wait for the ice cream. I waited for 25 minutes before the ice cream was brought out. I asked what took so long and a younger female employee snapped back that she told me there was going to be a wait and that they are understaffed so sorry. I asked for a manager. Waited 5 more minutes in the car as the ice cream melted before I took my child out of the car seat (the reason I did drive through and went here in the first place) and went in to talk. Once I talked to the manager he said he was understaffed and it would have been a longer wait if I came earlier because they ran out of ice cream and had to go a farther distance to get the ice cream buckets. He then asked how he can help me since they told me about a wait and in a sarcastic way asked if I wanted a gift card. I told him that is not why I was here. He said thanks for coming in and sorry about the wait in a hurry before returning back to scoop ice cream. 35 minutes later and $20 less, I was debating on giving the ice cream to others waiting in line forever so they didn't have to go through the hassle I did and the company would lose business. It was obvious the manager and employees don't care about the business or customers but only their pay check. Sounds like there are more issues with supply and staffing as well. Never again! Save your time and money
Checked the website which said they were open 24 hrs (I assumed the drive thru which is what we wanted). We got there at 10pm. The signs light as well as drive up menu light were off. As we were driving passed by the unlit drive up menu we heard a voice. We said "oh, you're open. Can we order some ice cream?". The voice apologized and said they were out. We said did you know your light was out? She said it was on a timer.
Quite upset, they don't close till 10pm yet they lock the doors at 9pm. And when we ask why we get the response when only two people are there and they need to count the tills no one is allowed inside. Yet we can visibly count at least 7 or 8 people about the cashier's age. So they unlock the doors to let friends in to goof off but for customers it's closed.
