Visited Jack's on our way cross country from Portland Maine to Portland Oregon to pick up some supplies. Team was very friendly, helpful, and interested in our ride. Great place to stop if you are near Bay City.

Best bike store in Bay City. Nick is following in his grandfather's footsteps, Jack, in making sure customers are happy with their purchases and is a great place to get maintenance on your bike.
Decent bike selection but generally expensive; most items are catalog order. Don't expect to be welcomed when you walk in. Instead expect the minimal amount of service the employees can give while still looking cool and chill. Compared to Minneapolis where the best shops show a genuine love for bikes regardless of brand or price, this place pushes a superficial hipster feel where you need the bike of the latest fashion. If you're looking for a genuine place that's just happy to see you on two wheels and participating in bike culture, this isn't it.
