Dr. Baker was amazing with my 5 yr old when she had her tonsils and adenoids removed. With my son, he was also amazing with him when it came to not understanding why he had repeated bloody noses.
Screw these ppl. A Dr can be good or grand or the best around & if the office is s--- then it doesn't matter how good the dr is. Messy, inconsiderate, lying, rude, irresponsible, ignorant people.
Lastly, i will add this... Obviously my son is not meant to go to this place or get surgery done here. The fact this appt was messed up 4 times & didn't happen... Thats God w/a big flashing sign that this is not where my son is meant to be. Yes, its too bad & awful now it will be a month before he can get in at Motts & thats another month of him not hearing tugging at his ear but, its clear to me now that is where hes meant to be & where hes supposed to get this surgery done. For whatever reason it is clearly not Bakers, haha. But just the treatment of the women in the office there & the fact they then called the peditrician & had no accountability & were so dirty about it... that is what has me so upset. Or the lady in the front is lying to someone in the back not saying she screwed up the 3 appts & then that someone in the back called my son's Dr. Whatever the case, screw those people.
They screwed up 3 appts, we had a card w/ it written down, we get there they said nope it was yesterday--we show them the card from their office written by their ppl n they still say nope. This happened 3 times... Another time it was 10am, we get there by 10 they said no it was 8:30, the card was shown to them again & they still say no.. No "I'm sorry", no acknowledgment, nothing. My 2 year old son has no hearing in 1 ear & my SO wanted to go here instead of Ann Arbor bc he has history w/ Dr.Baker & trusts him, he did tubes for my step sons ears 13 yrs ago... Well, this last appt was our mistake, We had it on the calendar for 1pm & it was at 12:30, This is after they screwed up 3 times mind you, I arrived at 12:50 w/ my son to be told 10 mins later I had to reschedule.... We would've been sitting in the office for that 20 minutes anyways, but yes still we messed up. Yes, that was our mistake but after they screwed up 3 times-- with it written on paper proof of their screw up-- You'd think they would have some kind of consideration & give a damn about this 2 yr old boy who only has hearing in 1 ear & though he is developing so great it still effects him & his speech & you'd hope they would care a little bit... And all we got were snappy sarcastic replies... Its like, you dont have to like someones personality.. Its not about the grown adults its about the baby & its too bad they arent capable of that. Only for them to thennn call my sons pediatrician to say we missed too many times & straight out lying when The card they wrote on for date & time was shown to them the 3 other times n they cant even own their mistake & try to make it look like we are being neglectful. Its absolutely disgustimg & nasty to me & the way that woman spoke at this last appt & to my SO was appauling... Yes, we got there for an appt we thought was 1pm, which was rele 12:30 we screwed up & owned that but, what about the last month & a half u screwed up? And she didnt like the fact that at tht point my SO looked around the room & said really, you have a bunch of 70+ in here for hearing aids & they're the priority over a 2yr old boy? Some ppl arent meant to be secretaries... seriously. I am so upset. All i care about is my sons health & wellbeing & then we have to deal with idiots like that. After finding out they called my sons pediatrician to make it look thar way... not sure exactly what im going to do about it or how to handle it but I am beyond upset for words over it. How dare you people, how dare you. We get treated terribly, no acknowledgment or ownership for their mistakes & then to do that are u fricking kidding me?!?
