WORST PLUMBING COMPANY! I had them come do work on a mobile home at my mobile home park fixing a hot water line. Charged me $90 per hour which I gladly paid because I ASSUMED paying $90 per hour would mean it would be done right! The very night after they spent the day "fixing" this pipe it comes undone and sprays hot water all over the place. (that didn't upset me) accidents happen but when I called and politely told them what happened they first said no one would be able to come out to get the water back hooked up till the next day. They also said that they would come look at it but they charge me $90 per hour AGAIN to do a service call. After that they had their plumber call me and use a whole bunch of plumber jargon to try to confuse me into thinking paying again was the right move! They hurried and cashed the check that same day after they realized they did shotty work, I'm sure they are familiar with running to the bank before they get a complaint! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! WORST MISTAKE EVER. My company is up and coming with not a lot of extra money to do work and they came and did sketchy work and bolted to the bank to cash my check. TERRIBLE WORK, TERRIBLE SERVICE AFTER THE CALL. I have never been treated this way by a reputable plumber, I had no idea that companies could get away with things like this. Ill be posting on the BBB as well
I absolutely have been satisfied with Doug's. I have had two furnaces put in by them, and I also referred a friend to them, and he had a furnace put in by Doug's as well. Great service, showed up quickly with estimates, on time for the installation. I highly recommend Doug's.
Called back a second time and managed to get rescheduled, and was told we'd have a plumber come by. Plumber never came. Called back, and the lady said they never got a single call from us ever.
Called once, and got a plumber scheduled. Woman that I talked to read the number to call back to me, but ended up calling someone else completely later on. That person proceeded to cancel the appointment.
Very happy with the quick install of a hot water heater. Went above and beyond over a year later to get me another receipt after I lost the original; mailed out the same day.
I did my homework before hiring them, and phoned 5 other furnace company's. One never returned my call, one phoned three weeks later, and two others were over $500.00 more than Doug's.
Never will use this place again, they never discussed that I would be charged travel time from there office to my house, fix issue and travel time back to there office. On top of being charged a trip charge. Double dipping and will be contacting BBB about this.
Worst company ever. Can't even keep track of their own clients schedules, much less their own. Absolutely useless and just gives you the run around. If you want a plumber you definitely don't want these people.
