Our plumber called this company in coordination with a plumbing job. Thornton snaked the drains and charged us for a regular visit but did not do all of our drains. We had water backup the very next day and they would not come out free of charge to check their own work. Will not be calling this company again. They should have at least come back out to finish the job without charging us again. Very disappointed.
Great service, very fast! Super friendly. Couldn't be happier with how quickly things were taken care of and how reasonable the cost. Will always call Thornton's!
Horrible customer service
We had a backup and these guys came highly recommended. They came and snaked out all the drains and only charged $95. To rent a snake would have cost me $50 at least (if not more), then I would have to pick it up, figure out my way around it, do the pipes, clean it and take it back. That would have been the greater part of an afternoon spent. The convenience of these guys showing up and just getting the job done was worth every penny. Kevin was a great guy. So down to earth. Taught me a little about plumbing too and wasn't condescending. Every other company had a wait list. These guys were good about fitting me in, knowing how big of a deal a back up is. They're in my Rolodex now.
Unprofessional Tech
No follow up or clear channel of management/oversight
I would not recommend using Thornton Brothers. After coming to my house, without the correct equipment, the tech came back to Flush my basement water proofing system, later that day. Within one week, next rain, the system was still clogged. Reached back out to Thornton after multiple attempts to have them come back out and warranty their work, we where unsuccessful. Being an honest person, I wrote a letter explaining the issues, with payment and my contact info. Payment was cashed, but no discount or followup was sent by Thornton. I guess they don't understand word of mouth is a valuable thing. I have already brought up my experience with two different friends in need of their services.
I was a little reluctant to call Thorntons after reading the reviews. So I called 2 other places and was told I could schedule an appointment for a week later. I had the day off and wanted a simple pump out. Bob was out one hour after I called. While pumping out he noticed a problem. Replaced
Avoid Thornton Brothers if possible
the baffle and installed a pvc pipe. We were very happy with his service and his price was fair.
