Friendly helpful employees. Items needed for my dog were not in the store. An employee called 2 other stores, no luck. Shelves were empty in many areas. Much different from 2 months ago. I was disappointed. The item I wanted 2 months ago was not in the store. About 5 were in the store this time. Not the size I needed and still not the color I wanted.
Good selection of items for all of your pets. I'd give it 5 stars but prices are a little high on a lot of stuff
-when you walk in the door there are rabbits, cats, ferrets, and birds for purchase along with rats , feeder mice and crickets. They also have a large selection of pet supplies, accessories and feed. I don't visit many pet stores, so I'm not sure if pets are allowed at all pet stores, but at Soldan's you can bring your pets along to shop in store. They even have a kissing booth setup where you can take pictures of you and your pet kissing , or just being silly :)
Only been here once, but it's basically your average pet store but with some added benefits. The day we went shopping for aquarium parts, they had 20% off total purchase sale for customer appreciation. The employee that we spoke with said that they do many different sales on a monthly basis. Plenty of Fish to choose from and they also take in fish . So if you have to get rid of your aquarium or just have too many, you can bring them your live fish (and tanks) instead of flushing them down the toilet. Lol
This is usually a terrific place to pick up bulk millet sprays. Not the skinny, skimpy, stale ones that come packaged. These are usually fat, full, long, and fresh. My birds love these. One from the packaged kind lasts three or four days - they are stale, often rancid. The fresh ones from Soldan's bulk bin never last more than one day with my birds! The more you buy, the less cost per stem. There's no signs, but after years of dealing with them, I know to grab a few dozen while there. They rarely have sales, but do carry products for pets of all kinds. I love to look at the new animals they have for sale.
