Dr. Grappin is the best. We are so very happy that we started bringing our pets to her. The staff is also fabulous!!!
But that is just my opinion on the subject, hopefully everyone else that goes there has a more pleasant experience.
Euclid vet is an upstanding wonderful place to take your pet. I love the staff. From the front desk, to the Amazing vet techs, to the doctors including Dr. Grappin, they are all there to love on and take care of your animals. I take my cat there and wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to take their pets there too.
The actual "Vet" in that office comes off as a very skittish man, and appeared to be scared of my cat every time we went in there, stating "wow shes aggressive, and mean, oh no", and spent more time complaining that the cat hisses at him, then actually using his knowledge of animals to diagnose and treat any ailments the animal may be facing. If this office can not handle a medium sized cat, for a routine shot and check up for the hotspots on her face "which are basically ignored every time we go in" then I do not entirely know if I can trust their competence level. This is definitely not a place to take a cat, and the nurses and vet make in apparently obvious they are not a cat friendly vet
Now i am by no means a Vet, but i feel as if it might be common sense that if a bunch of people the animal doesn't recognize, or understand, separate them from the people they know, they may become a little bit frightened. Then when someone tries man handling the cat aggressively then yes, for obvious reasons the animal will feel threatened.
Out of all the vets I have taken animals to in my life, in Michigan or elsewhere, this place seemed one of the best at first. Until I really payed attention to what they do and how they treat animals and the owners.
Caring staff who made me feel comfortable with my new puppy. All my questions were answered. I will be recommending this group to friends and family.
Staff is very nice and they really care for your pet. I wouldn't have taken my pet any place else.
We took out cat there today for a follow up distemper shot, as soon as we get there they leave us in one room, and disappear to another room with our cat. After 40 mins of standing in this room wondering whats going on, they return to us with our cat on a animal control pole. Stating they "couldn't give her the shot because she is to mean".
